Terms of Service
These terms cover the cleaning services offered through harborlightcleaners.com and the text messages sent by Harbor Light Cleaning Services, LLC ("Harbor Light Cleaning," "we," "us").
Services
We provide residential cleaning, commercial cleaning, deep cleaning, regular cleaning, move-in and move-out cleaning, post-construction cleaning, and Airbnb turnover cleaning. Service is based near Gloucester, Massachusetts, and is available across Cape Ann, the North Shore, parts of Greater Boston, and southern New Hampshire. Availability depends on the city and the type of cleaning.
We are insured with workers' compensation and general liability insurance in Massachusetts.
Quotes and scheduling
Each quote is based on the property: size, condition, and the work you ask for. We do not publish a single flat rate. A quote is an offer for the scope we describe. Work outside that scope is quoted separately.
We schedule at a time we both agree on. If you need to change or cancel, contact us by phone, text, or email as soon as you can. Any fee for a late change will be stated in your quote before you accept it.
Your property
Please give us safe access and tell us about pets, alarms, fragile items, and areas we should not clean. We bring the supplies and equipment for the service unless we agree otherwise.
Text message program
Harbor Light Cleaning sends text messages from (978) 797-8317. There are two kinds of messages, and you choose each one separately:
- Service messages: quote follow-ups, appointment reminders, and updates about a cleaning you asked for.
- Marketing messages: occasional offers about our cleaning services.
Message frequency varies. You can request a quote or book a cleaning without agreeing to either type of text.
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to (978) 797-8317. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again. You can also text "OUT" to opt out.

As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive messages at a frequency that varies based on your quote, appointment, and service activity. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

The information on this website describes our services. It is not a promise that a specific date is open until we confirm it.
Liability
To the extent allowed by Massachusetts law, our responsibility for a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service, except where the law does not allow that limit. Our insurance applies to accidental property damage or injury during a cleaning, as described by those policies.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Age
You must be 18 or older to use this website, request a quote, or opt in to text messages. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to join the text message program.
